Pick the wedding and what's on the card, like candid photos or video. StudioDrive names the folders the same way every time.

Files go to your main drive and your backup together. Each one is compared with the card afterwards, and you only see "safe to format" when both copies match.

Every drive is catalogued, even when it sits in a cupboard. Search a couple's name and see which drives hold the files, with thumbnails.

StudioDrive remembers what's on each drive after you unplug it. Open any wedding and see its folders, file counts and thumbnails without hunting for the right drive first.

Before you install

Does StudioDrive upload my photos to the cloud?

No. Your photos and videos stay on your own drives. StudioDrive keeps a catalogue of file names, folders and small thumbnails online so your team can search and check from their phones.

Which computers does it run on?

The Mac app runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. A Windows version is on the way. The phone dashboard works in any modern phone browser.

Do I need to set anything up on a server?

No. Sign up with your email, install the Mac app and sign in. We run the online side for you.

What happens to files on a drive if I remove it from StudioDrive?

Nothing. Removing a drive only makes StudioDrive forget its catalogue. The files on the drive are never touched.

How many people can use it?

Yes. The Photographer plan has 2 seats and the Studio plan has 5. Invite your editors and assistants, and everyone sees the same drives, history and live backups.
